RAK eServices & mServices Platform draws 1500 visitors

Under the patronage of HE Eng. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Sayyah, e Government Authority General Manager, the RAK eServices & mServices Platform was wrapped up yesterday, aiming at transforming Ras Al Khaimah society into a smart society in all aspects of life. The platform hosted number of government entities, which participated in this event to showcase electronic and mobile services they are providing to the public to complete their transactions smoothly. The platform attracted a large turnout from all segments of society, since it hosted a number of officials and delegations from different government entities and ministries. Not to mention that the platform, which remains for seven consecutive days, draws more than 1500 visitors to check the government services provided to the public in order to facilitate procedures and provide it conveniently. RAK Government entities participated in the event include Public Prosecution Department, Courts Department, Department of Economic Development, Public Works & Services Department, Customs Department and Environmental Protection & Development Authority. Among the most prominent activities in the platform that the Public Prosecution Department issued a decision exempting customers from paying service request fees for one month, in a way to encourage them to use the new e-services for the sake of achieving satisfaction and happiness. Furthermore, Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah launched its latest service “Chat with Ammour”. In light of DED strategy to launch premium e-services designed to bring happiness to customers and the community, the new service, which will be available 24/7, will enable customers to inquire about all they want whether they are at home or in their shops, which will save time and efforts. Customers can access “Chat with Ammour” via mobile phone anywhere anytime to start a conversation with concerned officers in 10 different languages.
