In line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, EGA launched “project Sdad” in collaboration with RAK Finance Department to provide electronic and intelligent payment platforms, In partnership with the e-Dirham (The Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi) and MBME company. This project enables individuals and businesses to repayment the government services electronically from anywhere and at any time. Eng. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Sayyah, e Government Authority General Manager confirmed that the leadership directives are to save customer time and effort through several choices, like paying through the website WWW.RAK.AE, and self-service devices MBME Kiosks that spread all over the UAE. Also POS payment devices, and services through smart devices. And the customer can pay cash or through credit cards (Master card and Visa) or through e-Dirham cards. He said that since the government departments began to announce the provision of electronic payment services, the customers immediately interact with payment of dues by using all of it. Where these methods are easy and quick, safe and convenient to pay for government services that is provided to customers. Noting that this project was in line with the government's objectives in terms of meeting the needs of citizens and customers and the business sector. The provision of electronic services for the development of smart government action , which reduces the proportion of risk in the transfer of funds and the rate of error in the receipt and delivery , and saves time and effort , as well as to achieve sustainable development to enhance the emirate's position in the country and the region. Al Sayyah pointed out that the application of the most important objectives of the project is to reach all dealers from obtaining government services and the payment of dues electronic and intelligent manner, without the need for a review of government agencies unless it is necessary . And he looks forward to apply the directives of the leadership on reality as soon as possible and high quality to comply with the degree of large development in the emirate. And to complete implementing the repayment project at the level of RAK Government (government and semi-government) by all smart electronic ways. In addition to providing additional pay channels such as direct debit from the bank account, And any other solutions that will help to achieve the government's strategy, and implement international best practices in this area. From his side Yousif Al Balushi, RAK finance manager said , The payment system ‘Sdad” is considered a great quality in economic system of the Emirate. Also it adds a lot of advantages to the financial trading within the emirate and it considered by the wise leadership as an important task that must be accomplished as soon as possible to escalate the economic wheel , and provides the time and effort to the public , as well as a high degree of safety that can be provided by the payment system. He pointed out that the launch of this project was in collaboration with the Department of Finance, RAK Government to provide the electronic and intelligent payment platforms , and in partnership with the e-Dirham and the Ministry of Finance, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, which is considered as one of the most important trading and financial security in the world.
