Ras Al Khaimah \u2013 Al Khaleej The Electronic Government Authority of Ras Al Khaimah (EGA) conducted an internal audit on work procedures in the institution to make sure that they are compatible with the international standard ISO 9001: 2008. Based on the results of the internal audit, the authority chose Lloyd\u2019s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) to carry out the external audit on the administrative system in the institution. The external audit process conducted by the institute went through two stages, the first was the assessment of the documentation of the administrative quality system, and the second was the evaluation of the application of the documented administrative quality system in all units of the authority, which included the Project Management Office (PMO), Infrastructure Services Management Department, E-Services Department, Excellence Office, Procurement Department, Human Resources Department, Training Department, and the Department of Facilities Management. The result of these two processes was a recommendation from the external auditor approved by LRQA to grant The Electronic Government Authority of Ras Al Khaimah (EGA) the International Quality Management System certification ISO 9001:2008, after the administrative work system met the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008. Eng. Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Sayyah, General Manager of EGA expressed his happiness over the authority receiving the international ISO 9001: 2008 certificate, which represents a success for the authority in the field of ensuring the quality of services provided to customers at the level of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and he pointed out that to obtain this certification is a confirmation of the vision of EGA to become one of the leaders in providing smart online services to individuals and business which enhance economic competitiveness of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah\u201d.<\/p>\n
